We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Marshall, MI. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills needed for everyday life. Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
• Active Michigan State COTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with ADL retraining, adaptive equipment, and documentation in electronic medical records preferred.
