Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active New Mexico PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care settings preferred.
• Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed PT and follow established care plans.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a small, home-like SNF environment preferred.
• Experience with restorative programs, fall prevention, and mobility training preferred.
