Description
Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in Waco, TX working in a skilled nursing facility. We seek a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while exploring a new location. This opportunity involves a travel assignment in a long-term care setting and requires adherence to facility policies and state licensure.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Texas Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings is required.
- Ability to provide documentation of clinical experience and references upon request.
- Client requirement: willingness to work 32 hours per week, 5 days per week (OT 32 hour guarantee).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
- Experience with geriatric populations and ADL training preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift pattern: 4x8.
- Work schedule: 5 days per week, 32 hours guaranteed.
- May be required to float to other facilities as needed.
