Description
Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Greeley, CO working in an outpatient setting. Provide comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and guide patients toward functional return to community activities. Deliver education to patients, families, students, and coworkers. Maintain professional standards, confidentiality, and safety practices consistent with organizational expectations.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Colorado PT license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy required. Must be able to perform comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans with 60 minute initial evaluations and 30 minute follow-ups.
- Ability to complete timely, accurate documentation, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessment, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with regulations.
- Ability to supervise and provide direction for therapy support staff and to precept students as assigned.
- Maintain professional licensure and meet state continuing education requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel or contract therapy experience preferred.
- Familiarity with safety programs such as safe patient handling and infection control preferred.
Assignment Details
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5x8 format.
- Clinic expectation: 60 minute evaluations, 30 minute follow-up visits.
- Start: ASAP.
