Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Dallas, TX, providing outpatient care where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. This role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, supervising discipline-specific therapy services, documenting care, and supporting student learning and professional development.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Texas physical therapy license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred, including evaluation and development of individualized treatment plans.
- Ability to manage caseloads of approximately 8–10 patients per day preferred.
- Pediatric, prenatal, or pelvic health experience and/or certification preferred. (If not held, listed as preferred.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Pelvic health certification preferred.
- Experience with prenatal patient populations preferred.
- Demonstrated competence in documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry preferred.
Assignment Details
- Schedule pattern: 5x8.
- Typical patient load: 8–10 patients per day.
- May be expected to participate in student education and supervision.
