Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Tennessee physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in long-term care, skilled nursing, or inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising or delegating to other therapy staff and students.
- Familiarity with safe patient handling procedures and equipment.
- Previous travel therapy experience preferred.

Impacting Patient Care
As a Physical Therapist you will evaluate assigned patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and work with interdisciplinary teams to support discharge planning. You will complete timely and accurate documentation, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and maintain professional licensure and ethical standards. You will promote patient and employee safety and follow facility policies regarding safe patient handling, infection control, and workplace safety.
