Description

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join our team as a traveling Physical Therapist in Lexington, KY where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. This role focuses on outpatient care with a patient population that includes pelvic health, general orthopedics, post-operative care, vestibular, and gait/balance therapy. Local clinicians within 50 miles may be considered at a local rate. New graduates are not accepted. First-time travelers are acceptable.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Kentucky state physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Outpatient experience preferred.
  • Must not be a new graduate. First-time travelers are acceptable.
  • Experience treating pelvic health, general orthopedics, post-op patients, vestibular disorders, and gait/balance is preferred.
  • Ability to meet productivity expectation of approximately 60 visits per week and to see 12–14 patients per day; follow-up double-booking expected.
  • Ability and willingness to float to other clinics as needed.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior outpatient clinic experience with similar patient populations.
  • Experience working in multi-clinic systems and willingness to float between clinics when required.


Assignment Details

  • Shift name: Days.
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week with expectation to work up to 40 hours.
  • OT (overtime) must be approved by the director before any OT hours are worked.
  • Float to other clinics within the regional clinic network may be required.
  • Patient population includes pelvic health, general orthopedics, post-op, vestibular, and gait/balance.
  • Productivity expectation approximately 60 visits per week; typically 12–14 patients per day with double-booking of follow-up visits expected.
