Description
Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT serving a skilled nursing facility in Washington, DC. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living skills while experiencing a new work setting.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active District of Columbia Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred.
- Current clinical experience evaluating and treating adults with functional deficits preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with documentation in electronic medical records preferred.
- Experience with adaptive equipment, splinting, and ADL training preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 08:30-16:30.
- Work pattern: 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift.
