Description
Make a real difference as a travel PTA in Annapolis, MD at a skilled nursing facility. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Maryland state PTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
- Outpatient experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with geriatric populations and in IL/AL (Independent Living/Assisted Living) settings preferred.
- Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 08:30–16:30.
- Work pattern: Five 8-hour shifts per week.
- Meal break: 30 minutes.
- May be required to float to other nearby facilities.
