Minimum Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA.
• Active Florida SLP license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
• Ability to float between facilities as required by the client. (Client requires SLP to float between multiple facilities in Sarasota.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with dysphagia management and standardized swallowing assessments.
• Experience with electronic medical records commonly used in skilled nursing facilities.
• Experience treating geriatric populations in post-acute or long-term care settings.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: Tuesday and Thursday at one facility and Monday, Wednesday, Friday at another facility in Sarasota, resulting in a 5-day work week.
• 32 hour guarantee per week.
• Must float between facilities within Sarasota as required by the client.
