Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active New York State Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute settings preferred.
• Ability to perform evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for geriatric populations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with restorative nursing programs and fall prevention strategies.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records used in post-acute care settings.
• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
