Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active New York State Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility or post-acute settings preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform mobility training, therapeutic exercise, gait training, and use of adaptive equipment preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
• Certification in specialty areas such as Certified Geriatric Specialist or continuing education in balance and fall prevention preferred.
