Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited educational program.
• Active Maryland PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in a Continuing Care Retirement Community, skilled nursing, long-term care, or geriatric population preferred.
• Ability to meet productivity expectations: 90% PCT requirement for PTA.
• Current immunizations and any facility-required screenings as applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel PTA experience.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems commonly used in post-acute or long-term care settings.
• Experience providing restorative or maintenance therapy programs for older adults.

Assignment Details

• Hours needed: 35-40 per week.
