Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join as a traveling Physical Therapist in Gainesville, GA where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while working in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting.
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Bachelor’s degree acceptable if meeting state requirements.
- Active Georgia Physical Therapy license required prior to start.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience. Neuro or inpatient rehabilitation experience required or strongly preferred.
- Experience evaluating and treating adult, geriatric, neuro, orthopedic, debility, amputee, and critical illness populations.
- Experience with or exposure to equipment such as Bioness Vector, Senaptec, Neuro VR, LiteGait, standing frame, tilt table, NuStep, Omnicycle, and Chattanooga tower preferred.
- Familiarity with GG Quality Indicators preferred.
- BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous inpatient rehab or neuro specialty experience.
- Experience with EPIC and UDS Pro Doc Rehab Connect documentation systems preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 08:00–16:30.
- Work schedule includes day and weekend rotation, with 40 guaranteed hours per week and 8 weekend hours.
- Patient ratios typically 4–6.
- No float requirements.
- No call requirements.
