Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Palm Harbor, FL. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to provide outpatient orthopedic and hand therapy services. This role emphasizes hands-on treatment, splint fabrication, and management of a full hand caseload while supporting patients in regaining functional independence.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Florida Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Demonstrated hand therapy experience required, including comfort with splinting and managing a full hand caseload.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic and hand therapy settings preferred.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Ability to complete timely, accurate documentation, including goal writing and letters of medical necessity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience evaluating and treating adult orthopedic and hand patients in an outpatient clinic.
• Experience supervising or mentoring students in clinical settings.
• Demonstrated competency with functional treatment planning and performance improvement initiatives.

Assignment Details

• Schedule pattern: 5x8.
• Weekly schedule provided by client: Monday 8:00–18:00, Tuesday 9:00–18:00, Wednesday 8:00–17:00, Thursday 8:00–18:00, Friday 7:00–15:00.
• Outpatient orthopedic and hand therapy caseload.
