Description
Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Brooklyn, NY. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility regain or improve daily living skills following injury, illness, or disability. This role offers the opportunity to deliver skilled, patient-centered care while working in a dynamic long-term care environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active New York State Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
- Experience with activities of daily living (ADL) retraining, adaptive equipment recommendations, and therapeutic interventions for older adults preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel therapy or contract therapy experience preferred.
- Familiarity with documentation systems used in skilled nursing facilities preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 08:30-16:30.
- Shift Pattern: 5x8.
