Description
Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Gardena, CA working in an outpatient clinic treating orthopedic injuries. You will evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal conditions, communicate treatment plans to medical teams, and report progress to in-house and specialty physicians while collaborating with clinic colleagues.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Current, active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic injuries in a clinic setting.
- Ability to communicate treatment plans and patient progress to medical teams and specialty physicians, such as orthopedic and hand surgeons.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in outpatient orthopedic clinics.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and assisting colleagues in identifying clinical issues.
Assignment Details
- Duration: 13 week assignment.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday with varying shifts between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM; may consider 4x10 schedules.
- VMS Shift Example: 3x12 shifts from 07:00 to 19:00.

Impacting Patient Care
