Make a real difference as a travel PTA in Kennesaw, GA working in an outpatient setting. Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Georgia PTA license required to start the assignment.
• BLS Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience working in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
• Demonstrated competency with therapeutic interventions common to outpatient care, including gait training, strengthening, balance, joint mobility, and use of modalities such as hot/cold packs and ultrasound preferred.
• Ability to document patient progress and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with therapeutic equipment such as whirlpools, paraffin, TENS, and assistive device training preferred.
• Experience participating in team conferences and quality improvement projects preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: 5x8 schedule.
• Workdays: Monday–Friday with two evenings extending until 6:00 pm.
• May be expected to follow facility floating requirements within the client network if requested.

Impacting Patient Care

Join a team focused on patient and employee safety and the delivery of high-quality care. You will implement treatment plans as established by the Physical Therapist, monitor patient response, document progress, educate patients and families on body mechanics, and participate in team conferences and quality initiatives. Adherence to infection control and safe equipment use is required.
