Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a travel Physical Therapist role in Silver Spring, MD working in outpatient clinics. This opportunity involves evaluating and treating patients, developing and modifying treatment plans, documenting care, supervising discipline-specific therapy services, and contributing to patient and staff safety initiatives. The assignment includes split coverage between two Silver Spring clinics and a 40-hour work week with 60-minute evaluations.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Maryland physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience providing outpatient physical therapy services, including comprehensive evaluations and development of individualized treatment plans.
• Experience with documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicators, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements.
• Ability to supervise and delegate to other therapy personnel and participate in student education programs.
• Familiarity with safe patient handling practices and infection control procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel or multi-site outpatient clinic experience.
• Experience with 60-minute evaluations in outpatient settings.
• Active participation in professional development activities and completion of discipline-specific continuing education.
