Description

Join a traveling Physical Therapist team in Durham, NC working in an outpatient setting to help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions. Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active North Carolina Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Outpatient orthopedics experience preferred. This client prefers clinicians with outpatient experience.
  • Productivity expectations include approximately 60 visits per week and 12–14 patients per day; experience managing similar productivity is preferred.
  • Ability to double-book follow-up visits as part of typical patient flow.
  • Willingness to float to other clinics within the regional network as needed.
  • Ability to work up to 40 hours per week; 36 hours guaranteed.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in multi-clinic outpatient settings or travel therapy teams.
  • Previous experience with productivity targets and managing caseloads of 12–14 patients daily.
  • Experience with orthopedic evaluation and treatment across adult outpatient populations.


Assignment Details

  • Shift: Days.
  • Float to other clinics within the regional network is required.
  • Clinic options include locations in Durham and neighboring communities such as Apex, Chapel Hill, Cary, Holly Springs, Morrisville, Pittsboro, Sanford, and Pinehurst.
  • 36 hours guaranteed with expectation to work up to 40 hours per week.
  • Productivity expectation: approximately 60 visits per week; typically 12–14 patients per day. Double-booking of follow-up visits expected.
  • OT hours must be pre-approved by the director before being worked.
