Description
We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
- Active Oklahoma COTA state license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute rehab preferred, including work with patients recovering from stroke, brain or spinal cord injury, amputation, or complex orthopedic conditions.
- Experience with patient lifts, specialized beds, and dedicated therapy gym equipment preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a low-stimulation or secured unit preferred.
- Familiarity with high-tech rehab devices such as robotic arm systems preferred.
- Experience assisting patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and using adaptive equipment preferred.

- Shift Hours: 07:00 - 16:30.
