Join our team as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist in Apopka, FL, and apply your expertise in communication and swallowing disorders within a skilled nursing setting. Minimum Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Active Florida state SLP license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dysphagia management and swallow evaluations in post-acute or long-term care residents.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record documentation in skilled nursing environments.
• Previous travel SLP experience preferred.

• Shift Days: M-F.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide skilled speech-language services to residents in a skilled nursing environment. You will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders, develop individualized care plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and document progress according to facility and state requirements. Your work will support safe swallow function, improved communication, and enhanced quality of life for residents.
