Minimum Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed CFY and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
- Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
- BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
- Experience with MBSS
- Experience with dysphagia
- Experience with cognitive assessment and treatment
- Experience with stroke rehabilitation
- Active Georgia license
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 0800-1700
- Setting: Inpatient rehabilitation
- EMR: Meditech
- Equipment used includes VitalStim, Bioness, PneuVest, and BITS visual and cognitive program
- Weekend or on-call expectation includes urgent evaluations for swallow or diet concerns, rarely
- Scrub color: Black
