Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Home Health experience
• PT degree and license

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No on-call or weekend requirement
• Coverage area includes Norfolk, Virginia Beach, and Portsmouth
• Mileage is reimbursed between visits, from first patient to last patient
• Responsibilities include admissions, recertifications, discharges, evaluations, and routine visits
• Dress code: scrubs in any color

First Landing State Park is about 15 minutes from the oceanfront and features 19 miles of trails, beaches, and cypress swamps for outdoor recreation. The Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center and Cape Henry Lighthouse are both located in the city, giving travelers access to coastal attractions and local history. Norfolk International Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, and the area also provides convenient access to Norfolk and Portsmouth for dining, entertainment, and waterfront activities.
