Description

Patient Age group: Adult – Geriatric (primarily cardiac and vascular surgical population)
Number of Beds: 368 bed acute care hospital
Ratios: 1:1
Minimum Experience: 2 years
Ventilators: n/a
Drips/Machine experience: Heparin, Amiodarone, Epinephrine, Norepinephrine, Nitroglycerin, Insulin, Vasopressin, Cell saver, Heart-lung bypass machine exposure, IABP familiarity preferred
Common Diagnosis: Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), valve repair/replacement (aortic, mitral), thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, pacemaker/ICD placement, carotid endarterectomy, peripheral vascular procedures
Required Certs: RN License (NY), BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), CNOR preferred
Technology: Cerner, Omnicell
Float/ on call requirements: 0630-3pm, Monday-Friday
Call is every 3rd weekday 3p-0630 and every 3rd weekend Friday 3p-0630, Saturday 0630-0630, Sunday 0630-0630
Orientation Frequency: Biweekly
RTO/shift/scheduling restrictions: n/a

ProLink Allied Job ID #549168. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
