Overview
The Radiology Technician operates radiographic equipment for diagnostic imaging. They produce X-rays for fracture, chest, and abdominal evaluations in ER or clinic settings. The ideal candidate will have expertise in radiologic technology and patient care, with experience in diagnostic settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray equipment for imaging.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures.
- Administer contrast agents safely.
- Maintain and perform quality checks on equipment.
- Document procedures in EHR systems like Epic or PACS.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
