Description
Cath Lab Tech: Must have at least 3 years of prior Cath Lab experience. Travel experience required. Epic experience pref.
• Typical Cases: Left heart catheterization, Right heart catheterization, STEMI, Pacemaker, AICD, BIV, TEE, Cardioversion, Tilt Table, A/I, peripheral vascular cases, and structural cases.
• Number of labs/Procedures per day: 4 labs (2 dedicated cardio, 2 EP), typically seeing 10-12 outpatient procedures per day.
• Equipment used: Acist, Manifold, IVUS, Shockwave, Penumbra, Inari, IABP (Balloon Pump), Impella, Temp Pacer, and Rotablator.
• Shift: 7a-530p, 4x10s
• On Call: 1 day per week and 1 weekend/mo. Schedule is 330p-6a if not working and 5p-6a if working. May have some hols on call. On call rate $5/hr
• Weekend/Holiday requirement: On call 1 weekend per month and some hols on call.
• Floating: May float to IR/EP Lab if dual trained.
• Required Certs & Licenses: BLS, ACLS, ARRT or RCIS | no AL rad tech license
• EMR: Merge Hemo, Azurion Fluoro System, Cerner
LOCAL: 55hr, 82.50 OT/Hols/CB, 5hr OC
*If candidate has been submitted or worked for any UAB hospital in the past 6 months as travel RN, we cannot submit them. There is a 6 month rule for travel RNs moving from one agency to another.*
