Description

NO LOCAL CANDIDATES (no candidates within 50-mile radius)
EKG Exam NOT required
MBS experience required, FEES experience preferred
2 years' experience in equivalent setting preferred
Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in VA required
BLS, Certificate of Clinical Competence Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) required
8-Hr DAYS, 8a-4:30p, No call
ITO interviews, Manager may conduct 2nd interview

Unit Specific Details
Approx. 8-10 plus patient follow ups
Patient population: Young adult to geriatric
Assess physician referrals, patient conditions, and medical histories to determine therapy needs.
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, re-evaluations, and develop treatment and discharge plans.
Administer prescribed speech language pathology treatments (addressing verbal and written language) tailored to individual patient needs (including voice articulation, fluency, swallowing, auditory and visual processing, as well as memory and cognition)
Adjust treatment goals and plans as necessary, collaborating with healthcare team members and participating in patient care conferences

ProLink Allied Job ID #D-218525. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
