· Nails: Fingernails should be neatly manicured and reasonable in length. Natural and artificial nails should be clean and kept short. Artificial fingernails (including but not be limited to acrylic, tips, silk wraps or any other substance or device applied to the natural nail
to augment or enhance the nail) are not to be worn during work hours by any healthcare worker (HCWs) who is required to wear latex or vinyl gloves to carry out the functional responsibilities of their position.
