Overview
The Respiratory Therapist provides care for patients with breathing disorders. They manage ventilators and aerosol therapies in ICU, ER, or pulmonary rehab. The ideal candidate will have expertise in respiratory care and patient monitoring, with experience in hospital settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory treatments like oxygen therapy.
- Assess patient respiratory status and monitor vital signs.
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment.
- Document care in EHR systems like Epic.
- Collaborate with physicians for care plans.
- Manage inventory of respiratory supplies.
