Respiratory Therapist - Registered

Location: Fort Myers, Florida Contract Length: 13 weeks Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in Florida
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Must be competent to perform bronchoscopy assist (bronch assist)

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Hamilton and Servo ventilators
• Trauma experience

Assignment Details

• Floating required. Travelers are first to float and may also float to other sister campuses.
• Travelers are welcomed into units and are expected to function as core staff.
• Culture is very important to this team.
• Radius rule: must live within 50 miles of permanent address.

Submission and Process

• Interview required. The manager has final offer.
• All return-to-office documentation must be submitted with the candidate submission. No approvals will be granted after submission.
• Complete demographic information must be loaded to the profile at time of submittal, or the candidate cannot be confirmed.
• Hard document deadline is the Monday before start. No exceptions for pending documents.
