Description

Adult Sleep Study Tech/Polysomnographic Tech

Location: Fargo, North Dakota Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

Performs quality diagnostic polysomnographic studies, including titration, multiple sleep latency, and maintenance of wakefulness tests.
Records and provides relevant, accurate data to physicians for diagnostic use in treating patients with sleep/wake disorders.

Required Qualifications

BLS (AHA)
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification (CPSGT will be considered)
Registration by the Board of Polysomnographic Technologists as a Polysomnographic Technologist in the state(s) of practice, and/or multi-state licensure privileges as required (registration from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) will also be considered)
North Dakota state license, or willingness to obtain it prior to start
Minimum 2 years of sleep study/sleep tech experience

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, mostly Sunday through Tuesday, though this may vary slightly based on need
Weekend requirement: Sunday night
Holidays: Closed on major holidays such as Thanksgiving night, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day; open on other holidays when the shift falls on them
