Overview

• Location: Show Low, Arizona
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Evening, Night
• Schedule: 3x12s, 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
• Hours: 1400-0200
• Guarantee: 36-hour guarantee
• Setting: Regional hospital in the White Mountains of Arizona, with outdoor activities and about two hours to Flagstaff and Phoenix

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience
• ED experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• TNCC
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Unit Details

• Unit: ER
• Rooms: 30 private ER rooms, including a six-room EDOU observation unit
• Fast Track: 6 beds, with a PA handling minor non-urgent issues
• Other Rooms: 1 seclusion room plus 5 monitored rooms
• Trauma Level: Level IV Trauma Center
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:3 or 1:4
• Volume: About 100 patients seen per day
• Patient Types: All, including trauma, cardiac, and neuro
• Support Staff: 5 techs during peak hours
• Systems: Allscripts Sunrise EMR, Omnicell medication system

• Scrubs: Not provided. Scrub color can be anything except all black.
