Cath Lab Tech - Days
Location: Chillicothe, Ohio Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging Employment Type: Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- Weekdays, 4x10s, 7a-5:30p, with some call
- 40 hours guaranteed per week
- Call: 45-minute response time, one weekend a month and two nights per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Ohio
- 2+ years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT
- BLS
- ACLS
- Must reside outside a 60-mile radius
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of travel experience
Role Overview
The Cath Lab Tech provides professional patient care through the application of radiologic skills and procedures to an assigned group of patients. This role works as a primary caregiver, provides direct patient care, and collaborates with team members, physicians, and patients/families to achieve optimal outcomes. The tech works under the supervision of the Cardiac Cath Manager.
- Scrubs and monitors (documents) multiple modalities within the Cath Lab
- Assists in heart cath procedures, emergent cath procedures (Impella, IABP), Peripheral Lab, and EP Lab
