Description

RN - Intensive Care Unit

Location: Corbin, Kentucky Employment Type: Clinical, Nursing Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Shift

CCU RN, 7 AM to 7 PM (12-hour shifts)
Full time
May require on-call shifts at times
Requires weekend and holiday shifts

Role Summary

Provides direct patient care on the unit, including nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments
Handles patient admission, transfer, and discharge activities
Provides patient and family-centered education and care coordination
Develops individualized treatment plans, prioritizes patient needs, and oversees delegated care
Participates in unit quality improvement activities, including monitoring of patient satisfaction, falls, pressure ulcers, CAUTIs, and documentation

Required Qualifications

Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
License: Valid, active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Experience: ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience (1 year), completed within the last year
