Emergency Department RN

Location: Georgetown, Kentucky Employment Type: Clinical, Nursing Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: 3rd shift, 3x12s (7p-7a), weekends and holidays as needed Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Job Summary

The RN provides direct patient care on the emergency department unit. This includes nursing assessments, treatments, rounds, admission, transfer, and discharge activities, patient and family education, and care coordination and individualized treatment planning. The role also involves delegating and overseeing team members, participating in unit quality improvement activities, and supporting a positive, healing team environment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid, active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
• 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with the most recent experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Details

• The nursing team handles respiratory treatments and equipment, including BiPAP/CPAP and ventilation.
