Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our acute care rehabilitation team. This position is essential for providing high-quality therapy services to patients in an acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in EMR (EPIC).
• Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
• Provide patient education and counseling to facilitate recovery and rehabilitation.

Job Requirements

• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Friday to Tuesday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• No call required.
• Floating within the hospital and scope of practice may be required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist is required.

Facility Requirements

• Locals and first-time travelers are accepted.
• Block scheduling is permitted from Friday to Tuesday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
