Medical-Surgical RN Aspirus Wausau - Wausau, WI.
· Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday
· Required Certifications: WI RN License, BLS.
· Minimum Experience: 2 years
· Charting Experience: EPIC preferred.
· Unit Information: MAP Unit – Medical and Pediatrics (Medical and Pediatrics – travelers do not take Peds patients).Will Have Covid Patients 42 bed unit. 0700-2300 typically 1:4-5 nurse patient ratio, and 2300-0700 typically 1:6-8 nurse patient ratio. The major conditions/most frequent diagnoses treated: Adults - respiratory illnesses, stroke, other neurological conditions (such as seizure disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, chronic back pain), gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, other infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal.
· Desired skillset: Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates: Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely, willingness to ask questions and collaborate with team and ancillary staff to ensure the best patient experience possible. Positive attitude and flexibility with constant changes which can occur throughout a shift.
