We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide essential services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate will assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence while adhering to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions according to the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with patient and family education to promote understanding of treatment protocols.
• Communicate patient status and progress effectively to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
