Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to provide high-quality therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role is essential in assisting patients to restore mobility, improve function, and achieve their treatment goals in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Deliver therapy interventions in alignment with the Physical Therapist's plan of care.
- Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in educating patients on their treatment plans and home exercise programs.
- Communicate patient status and relevant information to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Active state PTA license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Ability to effectively follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
