Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology/Infusion

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for an ambulatory oncology and infusion unit with a start date of July 20.

Responsibilities

Administer chemotherapy, biological, and immunotherapy treatments.
Provide IV therapy to patients as needed.
Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and care procedures.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all patient interactions and treatments.

Qualifications

Experience in oncology nursing is strongly preferred.
ONS chemotherapy, biological, and immunotherapy provider card is highly desired.
Previous infusion therapy experience will also be considered.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is not necessary.
The candidate must be willing to receive a flu vaccine.

Work Schedule

This position typically involves four 10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Occasional adjustments may include a few weeks of five 8-hour shifts, either from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Shared housing is available for employees. Candidates must provide their own transportation. Please note that guests and pets are not allowed in the housing.
