Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for nursing professionals committed to delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the healthcare team.
Shift Details
- Night shift: 3 shifts per week
- Each shift is 12 hours, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the MS/Tele unit.
- Utilize critical thinking and assessment skills to monitor patients' conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and implement patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months of permanent MS/Tele experience required.
- MUST HAVE a valid Ohio Nursing License or compact state license in hand.
- AHA or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to starting.
- A recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the nursing specialty is required for submission.
- Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation is required, with acceptable scores on both assessments.
