Shift Information

40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts. Schedule: Friday to Monday.

Certifications/Requirements

• Rehabilitation Certifications (ASHA, CHT, ACP Training)
• Current valid Oregon driver's license
• Current CPR certification

Job Summary

The Registered Occupational Therapist evaluates, selects, performs, and/or supervises assistance in educational, vocational, and recreational activities aimed at restoring maximum function to patients with physical and/or mental disabilities, under the referral of a physician. Collaborates with family members and healthcare team members to set and achieve patient goals based on their abilities.

Education

Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an institution accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Eligible for licensure or currently licensed by the State of Oregon.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Must fulfill all licensure requirements as mandated by the Oregon State Board of Health. Current CPR certification is also required.

Experience/Knowledge

The candidate must possess a current understanding of occupational therapy principles related to physical disabilities and rehabilitation processes. Knowledge of general medicine, surgical and mental health concepts is essential. A positive attitude and proficient communication skills are required, alongside effective teamwork abilities that promote interaction, support, and respect among colleagues.
