Job Role

The Clinical Pharmacist provides consultative services and clinical expertise to evaluate and improve medication usage and therapeutic outcomes. Responsibilities include:

• Promoting continuous improvement within the pharmacy scope of practice.
• Processing orders and prescriptions to provide medications and pharmaceutical supplies as ordered by physicians and authorized medical practitioners.
• Advising physicians, healthcare staff, residents, and patients on the safe administration of medication.
• Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures for medication safety, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Performing other job functions as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required; first-timers accepted.
• Pediatric experience is required.
• Tennessee licensure is required at the time of submission.
• Driver’s license must be included with submission.

Work Schedule

Weekend requirements as needed. Block scheduling is not accommodated.

This position is for a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center. All requests for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission, as RTO sent after the offer will not be considered for approval.
