Unit Description
This is a 41-bed Medical Telemetry unit dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients with diverse medical needs.
Job Details
- Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in one location and 2 years as a Traveler.
- Floating Requirement: Travelers are expected to float to applicable units as needed.
- Shift Rotation: Night positions are straight nights; rotating shifts may include days and evening hours.
- Nurse-Patient Ratio:
- Days: 1 to 4/5
- Eves & Nights: 1 to 5/6
- Patient Population: Cardiac, Respiratory, Metabolic, Psych, Substance Use Disorder, GU, & GI.
- Bed Count: 41
- Census: 41
Technical Requirements
- Skill Sets Required: Cardiac Telemetry, Cardiac Drips, Ability to Interpret Telemetry Strips, TR Bands, Hi-Flow Oxygen.
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: EPIC.
- Certifications Required: Current RN License in Massachusetts, AHA Certified BLS, and ACLS.
Qualifications
- Must possess the skills to read and interpret telemetry strips.
- Ability to manage various patient populations with diverse health conditions.
