We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This position involves providing critical care in a 9-bed ICU, with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2:1, unless one-to-one care is required. In certain situations, nurses may be assigned to manage overflow patients, which may increase the ratio up to 3-4 patients per nurse.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to adult ICU patients, with occasional stable pediatric patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer necessary treatments.
• Collaborate with a minimum of three nurses on each shift for optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to other departments as needed to assist, without managing a patient team.

Shift Information

• 12-hour shifts available, including both day and night options.
• Schedule consists of 72 hours every two weeks.
• Holiday coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, and PALS.
• Prior experience with pediatric patients is preferred.
