Position Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the MS/Tele specialty will be part of a Resource Pool and is essential in providing high-quality care to patients. This position offers flexibility to float between various units within the region as needed, supporting the dynamic needs of healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care to a diverse population within the MS/Tele unit.
• Participate in patient assessment and monitoring, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding care plans and health management.
• Float to other units as needed to address staffing needs.

Scheduling Details

This position is primarily for night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week. There may also be opportunities for 48-hour shifts. Weekend coverage is required as needed, with specific holiday coverage requirements outlined.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; 2 years preferred.
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIH.
• Candidates must pass an arrhythmia and medication test on the first day of orientation.
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Must be able to comply with attendance policy, as excessive missed shifts may result in contract review.

Additional Requirements

• Must obtain a nursing license before starting the position. Pending licenses are accepted.
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the start of the application process.
• Shaving may be required to pass a fit test onsite.
