Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced ARRT Certified Radiologic Tech for the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The position involves a 40-hour work schedule over 4 days, with flexible start dates available.

Unit Description

The role is primarily in a Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology lab, consisting of 2 procedure rooms. Responsibilities include performing interventional procedures such as PCI, Impella placements, balloon pump insertions, device implants, and ablations.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and participation in interventional cardiac procedures.
• Scrubbing for device implants and leading revisions and ablations.
• Maintaining accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system, specifically EPIC - Cupid.
• Potentially floating to Interventional Radiology as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in a Cath/EP Lab setting.
• At least 2 years of travel experience in a related field.
• Required certifications: ARRT Certification, Current MA License as a Radiologic Tech, AHA ACLS.

Skills Required

• Experience with interventional procedures, including PCI.
• Proficiency in EPIC systems.
• Strong technical skills with Toshiba X-Ray and Cannon equipment.

Patient Population

The patient population is primarily adults undergoing cardiac interventions.

Work Environment

Call shifts are part of the schedule, including full weekend coverage (Friday to Sunday), with a call room available on-site for convenience.
