Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both neuro and computed tomography (CT) along with interventional radiology (IR). This role requires weekend coverage and participation in on-call rotations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in various interventional radiology procedures, including imaging and hands-on support.
• Utilize advanced technological equipment and maintain operational readiness.
• Prepare and position patients for neuro and CT imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical training in Radiologic Technology is required.
• A valid Radiology Massachusetts License is required.
• Registration as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) is required.
• Experience as a scrub and circulator in interventional radiology is highly desirable.
• Extensive knowledge of thrombectomy devices for pulmonary embolism (PE) and stroke procedures is preferred.
• Experience with angiography procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty is a plus.
• Familiarity with GE and Siemens imaging equipment is beneficial.

Orientation and Schedules

Orientation is conducted weekly, typically every Monday, barring holidays. Candidates should be prepared for scheduled weekends and on-call responsibilities.

Additional Information

Potential candidates should present all requests for time off at the time of submission. Traveling staff who have previously worked recently in similar roles will not be considered for this position.
