We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, the ability to manage patient care effectively, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Job Details

• Shift: Night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00 - 07:00)
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years; candidates with 1+ years will be considered
• Patient Ratio Experience: 1:5/6
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
• Float Required: Yes, within the scope to meet facility needs
• Pre-Approved Time Off: Up to 2 requests allowed

Qualifications

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (preferred)
• Charting System: Preferred experience with Epic
• Travel Experience: Required, with a minimum of 3 years in MS/Tele settings
• Community Hospital Experience: Preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Monitor and manage patient health status, particularly dysrhythmias
• Assist in the interpretation and management of cardiac dysrhythmias
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more
• Utilize specialized equipment such as chest tubes and wound vacuums as needed

Additional Information

• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Centralized telemetry monitoring with technician support
• Patient Diagnoses: Includes sepsis, dementia, post-operative care, orthopedic cases, chest pain, and stroke evaluations
• Telemetry Testing: Required at the start of placement
